Developed training manual, policies and practices under the supervision of Director, who has since been appointed as a Federal Immigration Judge for the San Francisco. Provided advice and research support to managing attorney and board members as well as local members of the bar. Advocated for alien detainees seeking asylum and relief from deportation proceedings under the Convention against Torture. Interviewed and assisted detainees held at the York County Prison, a maximum security detention facility to prepare him or her for their Immigration Court proceedings.
